Flowering Peach Road: Painting the Hillsides of Meiho Ogawa

What began with 2,000 flowering peach trees planted by Ogawa locals in the year 2000 has blossomed into a stunning display.
Thanks to continued planting each year, around 3,000 trees of diverse varieties now fill the village with color and sweet fragrance each spring.
Key viewing spots include the area near JA along Prefectural Route 86, around Ogawa Kino no Sato, and along the Yumikake River.
*Note: The trees may be lit up on clear evenings; check the Meiho Tourism Association Instagram for details.
