ABOUTGujo Meiho
About the Hakusan Shrine Festival

In Gujo City Meiho, the annual autumn festival at Hakusan Shrine is held as a traditional event. At eight Hakusan Shrines across seven districts, local residents offer traditional Kagura and Ise-Kagura performances based on local customs.

The festivals vary by district, with differences in the content, roles, songs, costumes, and makeup, offering a unique opportunity to compare the distinct features of each festival.
You are welcome to freely enjoy the festivities.
We invite you to come and experience the celebration of Meiho's festive day.
